1

The program

Legal Rights Now offers two kinds of text messages, and you choose each one separately on our case review form:

  • Service updates and account notifications. Recurring automated texts about your case review request, such as confirmations, follow-up questions and status updates.
  • Marketing communications and promotions. Texts about Legal Rights Now guides and services.

Both checkboxes start unticked. You can tick one, both or neither.

2

How you opt in

You opt in by entering your mobile number and ticking one or both text message boxes on the case review form. The exact wording you agree to is shown next to each box, and we keep a record of it with the date and time. Consent is not required to purchase any product or service, and you can send a case review request without agreeing to texts.

3

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. It depends on your request and on which kinds of messages you agreed to receive.

4

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Legal Rights Now doesn't charge for text messages. Ask your mobile carrier about your plan's rates.

5

How to stop texts

Reply STOP to any message from Legal Rights Now to stop receiving texts. You can also reply with words such as QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or OPT OUT. After you opt out, we may send one final message confirming that you won't receive more texts. You can also ask us to stop through our contact form.

If you'd like texts again later, you can opt in again on the case review form.

6

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message for help, or use our contact form.

7

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and coverage, and messages may not reach you on every carrier or device.

8

Your number and your consent stay private

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We use service providers only as needed to deliver the messages you asked for. See our Privacy Policy for more.

9

Changing your number

If you change or give up your mobile number, please reply STOP from the old number first, or tell us through our contact form, so that texts don't go to someone else.

10

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and the account holder for the mobile number, or have the account holder's permission, to opt in.

11

Changes to these terms

We may update these SMS Terms. When we do, we'll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
